Rana Shasha’a

Ms. Rana Shasha’a is a Senior Partner at PwC, leading the Risk & Regulatory practice across the Middle East. She advises boards, shareholders, and executive management on complex investigations, disputes, and governance matters, positioning risk and regulatory insight as key drivers of resilience and long-term value.

With over 20 years of experience in Financial Advisory, Ms. Rana brings an integrated perspective across risk, finance, governance, and performance. She is frequently engaged in high-stakes, sensitive situations within large, complex organisations, particularly in construction, infrastructure, real estate, and other capital-intensive sectors.

Ms. Rana works closely with boards and senior leadership to address critical issues while strengthening governance frameworks, enhancing transparency, and supporting effective oversight. Her approach focuses on translating complex insights into clear, actionable outcomes that protect stakeholder interests and reinforce investor confidence.

Ms. Rana has led numerous high-profile, cross-border matters across the Middle East, the UK, and Europe, often involving regulatory scrutiny and shareholder disputes, and has provided expert testimony in judicial proceedings.

Ms. Rana is recognised by Who’s Who Legal and Financier Worldwide as a leading expert in investigations. She holds an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School and multiple certifications in fraud examination, governance, and Islamic finance.
