Shaikh Nasser Rashid Almoalla is a distinguished leader with decades of experience in the banking, insurance, and investment sectors in the United Arab Emirates.
Shaikh Nasser served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain from 1982 until 2026, during which he played a pivotal role in the Bank’s long-term growth and strategic direction and he remains a member of the Board of Directors of NBQ. In addition, he has been serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Union Insurance Company since 2021.
Throughout his career, Shaikh Nasser has contributed significantly to the growth and development of key institutions across the UAE. He is the Founder and former Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Umm Al Qaiwain General Investments Company (formerly Umm Al Qaiwain Cement Industries), where he served from 1982 until 2017. He also held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Insurance Company from 2000 until April 2021. Shaikh Nasser further served as a Board Member of Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials from 2018 until 2022.
In recognition of Shaikh Nasser’s leadership and contributions to the banking sector, he was awarded Best CEO for Emiratisation in the Banking sector in GCC in 2000.
Shaikh Nasser holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
